Why I Paint Flowers
I believe God has blessed me with a creative gift—not just to paint, but to see and celebrate the beauty He placed in this world. Flowers have always spoken to me. Ever since I was young, a bouquet could brighten my spirit and bring a sense of peace and joy I couldn’t quite explain.
Flowers are more than just pretty petals. They’re resilient, delicate, and full of personality—each one unique, like people. They bloom through storms and seasons, just as we do in life. I paint flowers because they remind me of hope, of beauty in imperfection, and of God’s intentional design in even the smallest details.
There’s a quiet magic in how flowers affect us. They can lift someone from sadness to joy, from joy to even more joy. They’re a simple gift that says, “You matter.” And isn’t that what we all need sometimes?
To me, painting flowers is my way of sharing that gift. A moment of beauty, a splash of color, a piece of the divine—given to someone who might just need to feel seen, comforted, or inspired.
Who doesn’t love to receive flowers? I believe God made them for everyone to enjoy, and He didn’t miss a single detail when He designed them.
